Eighteen years ago, we found a need for a top quality safety/coaching/umpiring launch. We began building catamarans, as we believe that twin hulls have considerable benefits compared to mono-hulls. Our catamarans are far more energy efficient: they consume less fuel and achieve higher speeds with less horsepower and produce lower emissions. As a result, all our catamarans to date have gained certification from the Environment Agency www.environment-agency.gov.uk that they have passed the "wash" test. Minimal wash means smoother running and protection of the riverbanks from erosion.
The rowingsolutions.com CAT2012 catamaran model has been CE proofed and conforms with Category C of the British Marine Federation www.britishmarine.co.uk. This means that it can be used and sold across Europe with complete conformity.
The rowingsolutions.com multipurpose catamarans may be used for coaching rowing or canoeing, for umpiring at regattas or for rescuing people from the water, which is a major consideration when choosing a coaching launch. The rowingsolutions.com catamarans are very easy to drive, to maintain and to launch in and out of the water with the customised launching trolley, which is available as an optional extra. The rowingsolutions.com catamaran with trailer can be easily towed behind a small car as their total combined weight is less than 370kg, this is an advantage when going to training camps or to other practice areas.
