Your Questions
Here are some questions we have been asked by our clients:
How much wash does the catamaran produce?
The catamarans have been specifically designed to produce minimal
wash. All boats have been approved by the Environment Agency
and have successfully passed the EA wash test.
How long will the fuel tanks last?
The 4hp 2-stroke engine has a built-in fuel tank, which lasts
for approximately 20/25 km of driving.
The 6hp 4-stroke with remote fuel tank lasts between 100-120
km of driving.
The 15hp 4-stroke with remote fuel tank lasts between 60-70
km of driving.

What
is the top speed of each engine?
The 4hp is 21kph (kilometres per hour)
The 6hp is 21kph
The 15hp is 34kph

How
many people will the catamarans carry?
The 15hp model will carry around 2 persons. It has a buoyancy
capacity of 750kg, so for emergency rescue purposes only, it
will carry up to 7 persons.
The
4hp and 6hp models will carry one person. They have a buoyancy
capacity of 200kg, so for emergency rescue purposes only, they
will carry up to 3 persons.

What's
the delivery period?
Delivery for one boat will be four weeks from receipt of order.
Delivery for multiple orders will be an additional 10 days per
boat thereafter.

Is yellow the only colour?
For safety reasons, we have chosen yellow for the catamarans'
hulls, as this colour is easily visible on the river or lake.

May
I test-drive one before buying?
Yes. Just give us a call or e-mail us to arrange an appointment.

How many people are needed to lift the catamaran in and out
of the water with or without a trolley?
With launching trolley: 1 person for the small and large
Without trolley: minimum 2 people for the small and 4 people

service.

The 6hp model weighs 85kg
The 15hp model weighs 210kg

The 4hp and 6hp models have a 3m turning circle, whereas the
15hp has a 4.5m turning circle.

Can
I tow the launch behind my car?
Yes, easily! The catamarans are light.

Where
can I get a trailer for towing?
We supply trailers customised for towing as well as launching
the catamarans in and out of the water. The trailers are easily
operated by one person.

Can I apply stickers/lettering to the hulls (i.e. club's
name)?
Yes. We can supply water resistant vinyl stickers made specifically
to suit your particular requirements.

Do you supply outside the UK?
Yes - anywhere!

What about service for the engines?
There are over 70 authorised dealers nationwide who can service
and repair Mercury engines.

What is the difference between a catamaran and a single hull
launch?
> Low wash because of less water displacement with twin hydrodynamic
hulls
> Lower energy consumption
> Higher speeds achieved with less horsepower

How
durable are the catamarans?
The hulls are made of extremely hardwearing polypropylene, which
is approximately 10mm thick.
