What is the difference between a rowingsolutions.com catamaran and a single hull launch?

Lower wash because of less water displacement with twin hydrodynamic hulls
Much lower energy consumption, therefore more economical
A lot more efficiency is achieved with much less horsepower, saving you money!

How durable are the rowingsolutions.com catamarans?

The hulls are made of extremely hardwearing polypropylene, which is approximately 10mm thick.

Can the rowingsolutions.com catamarans hulls be repaired?

In the unlikely event that the hulls get damaged they can be repaired easily by yourself, but this will depend on the nature and extent of the damage.

NOTE: In the 18 years we have been using the polypropylene hulls we have never had to repair a catamaran hull yet!

What are the most common faults you get with the rowingsolutions.com catamarans?

The most common faults are caused by the use of dirty petrol, water in the petrol, when the petrol gets too old and not having the engine serviced at regular intervals.

Have the engine serviced regularly, at least every six months, this will increase the life and the performance of the engine significantly.

What maintenance do the rowingsolutions.com catamarans need?

The minimum of maintenance required is a good clean with a jet wash when it gets dirty or if the catamaran is left in the water for a long time, as algae will build up on the hulls and slow down the performance and efficiency of the hulls.
